Lately Parker has been oohh weee not so fun! I know it is just a phase but there is something so frustrating about a child not listening. Sometimes I call my mom just crying because I am at my wits end and don’t know what to do. There are a couple of things that stood out and WORK!
1. Throw toys away. You actually throw them away but when they aren’t looking take them back out. Works 9 times out of 10.
2. Take them to their room. They don’t listen, they get a chance, 2nd time straight to their room.
3. If in a store, they act up, take them straight to the car. Do not pass go do not collect $200.
They will not understand a bunch of conversations about what they did wrong at 3 but they will understand that they cannot act that way and the consequence that happens with those actions. Let me know if these work for you! 🙂
