Italian dry mix can be used in almost anything!! It makes any food taste delicious and add that special something to make it flavorful instead of bland.
You can use Italian dry mix in spaghetti, roast, lasagna, casseroles, other crock-pot or slow cooker recipes, make the actual dressing, and more!
This is what you will need:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons oregano, ground or 2 tablespoons oregano leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (Substitute Truvia or Sweetleaf instead to make it healthy)
- 2 tablespoons salt or salt substitute (Substitute Himalayan Pink Salt or Sea Salt to make it healthy)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground basil or 1 teaspoon basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme or 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried celery leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried celery flakes
**To make zesty**
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1-2 tablespoons crushed red pepper (depends on how spicy you want so more or less to your preference)
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together and then store in an air tight container!
Enjoy!

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! My name is KarenAnne Taggett. I am from a small town in Michigan called Lawton. I grew up there most of my life until I married my high school sweetheart Rich. He is in the U.S. Army and we have lived in North Carolina and Tennessee. We are currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.
Parker, our oldest son, who just turned 6 in May. How time flies! It seems like just yesterday he was born. I absolutely adore him and I think he knows it! ;) I love watching him grow more and more each and every day. He is a big first grader this year and while school can be challenging he is making the most of it and rocking it!
Grayson, our angel baby, was born sleeping on January 1, 2016 at 35 weeks and 5 days due to hyper-coiled umbilical cord. We miss him every single day but we feel him around us always, in the wind, sunshine, and all the pennies he leaves us. He will always be our baby boy.
Sullivan, our youngest, who just turned 1. He is our rainbow baby . I got pregnant with him a month after we lost Grayson. We were not expecting that but I think his brother Grayson sure knew what he was doing when he sent him to us. He is the sweetest boy and always so happy. He is our sunshine and then some!
We have one dog, a white Boxer named Love. She is such a love bug, hence her name. She just turned 9 in July. She's my only daughter and keeps me company in this full house of boys. She is very spoiled and I can't imagine my life without her.
I am an easy going person and down to earth! I call myself a genuine country girl! I love being a mom and an Army wife. I love spending time with my husband when time allows but we love being together as a family. We LOVE being outside and doing things around the house. We go to the parks a lot with our sons and dog. Anything to keep us outside, we love!
I'm on a mission to find what I want to be when I grow up. I thought it was a teacher, and now that I'm 99% done with my bachelors in elementary education, I don't feel that is where my heart is anymore. I'm also juggling mom life, military life, and being a stay at home mom. I know I have a calling or a purpose or what I'm supposed to do when I grow up, I just haven't figured that out yet.
I'm so glad you have taken the time to check out my blog! I hope you follow my journey, have some laughs, and join the silliness!
