How many times have you started something, get discouraged, and quit? How many times are you doing something and expecting immediate results and you don’t?
A fitness journey is just like that!! There may be times where you follow the plan to a T and you gain a pound. You might follow the plan to a T and not see a difference in your progress pictures. The key is to look for what you may not see on a scale or in a picture.

Are you getting stronger? Does the workout seem easier? Do you feel better from eating cleaner foods? Do the smaller changes make a BIG difference?

There has to be a yes to at least one of these questions. Focus on the good! Focus on what you do see or what other people see in you. Don’t get discouraged. Keep pushing through. When you feel like giving up, turn to the people who lift you up! Rely on your support system. That is what they are there for.

People can get discouraged in whatever journey they are on, it doesn’t have to be fitness or health necessarily. Some really good ideas are to look for inspiration and motivation. I like to find my mentors, friends, family, Google quotes that make me feel good or that are positive, give an old friend, new friend, best friend, etc. a call, go for a walk, go get a mani/pedi, and anything else that might strike my mood to make me feel better.
What I am trying to say is, keep looking forward, push through, and make the most of your journey. You will be glad you did! You never regret taking chances, you regret NOT taking chances! 🙂

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! My name is KarenAnne Taggett. I am from a small town in Michigan called Lawton. I grew up there most of my life until I married my high school sweetheart Rich. He is in the U.S. Army and we have lived in North Carolina and Tennessee. We are currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.
Parker, our oldest son, who just turned 6 in May. How time flies! It seems like just yesterday he was born. I absolutely adore him and I think he knows it! ;) I love watching him grow more and more each and every day. He is a big first grader this year and while school can be challenging he is making the most of it and rocking it!
Grayson, our angel baby, was born sleeping on January 1, 2016 at 35 weeks and 5 days due to hyper-coiled umbilical cord. We miss him every single day but we feel him around us always, in the wind, sunshine, and all the pennies he leaves us. He will always be our baby boy.
Sullivan, our youngest, who just turned 1. He is our rainbow baby . I got pregnant with him a month after we lost Grayson. We were not expecting that but I think his brother Grayson sure knew what he was doing when he sent him to us. He is the sweetest boy and always so happy. He is our sunshine and then some!
We have one dog, a white Boxer named Love. She is such a love bug, hence her name. She just turned 9 in July. She's my only daughter and keeps me company in this full house of boys. She is very spoiled and I can't imagine my life without her.
I am an easy going person and down to earth! I call myself a genuine country girl! I love being a mom and an Army wife. I love spending time with my husband when time allows but we love being together as a family. We LOVE being outside and doing things around the house. We go to the parks a lot with our sons and dog. Anything to keep us outside, we love!
I'm on a mission to find what I want to be when I grow up. I thought it was a teacher, and now that I'm 99% done with my bachelors in elementary education, I don't feel that is where my heart is anymore. I'm also juggling mom life, military life, and being a stay at home mom. I know I have a calling or a purpose or what I'm supposed to do when I grow up, I just haven't figured that out yet.
I'm so glad you have taken the time to check out my blog! I hope you follow my journey, have some laughs, and join the silliness!
