Hi y’all!! I figured since I was on a roll with my seasoning post I would do another one.
Last night we tried the no salt taco seasoning. I have to say it was SO good!! I have been wanting to make the taco seasoning for a while and I am glad I did yesterday. It was a hit with my whole family…kid tested and husband approved!! 🙂
Here is what you need:

- 2 TBSP Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder

This is what is will look like or this…

I also added this seasoning into a small Pyrex glass container. Whatever I didn’t use I left in this and put a lid on.

I use 93/7 beef with half of a yellow onion. This was before seasoning.

Now the seasoning is in..the smell is A-MAZ-ING!!! 🙂
Add as much seasoning or as little as you want per your taste preference.
***It does have a little kick so be careful. It was fine for my husband, son, and I.***
As always, try it out, and let me know what you think!! Feel free to share this post with anyone who might like a salt free taco seasoning!! 🙂

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! My name is KarenAnne Taggett. I am from a small town in Michigan called Lawton. I grew up there most of my life until I married my high school sweetheart Rich. He is in the U.S. Army and we have lived in North Carolina and Tennessee. We are currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.
Parker, our oldest son, who just turned 6 in May. How time flies! It seems like just yesterday he was born. I absolutely adore him and I think he knows it! ;) I love watching him grow more and more each and every day. He is a big first grader this year and while school can be challenging he is making the most of it and rocking it!
Grayson, our angel baby, was born sleeping on January 1, 2016 at 35 weeks and 5 days due to hyper-coiled umbilical cord. We miss him every single day but we feel him around us always, in the wind, sunshine, and all the pennies he leaves us. He will always be our baby boy.
Sullivan, our youngest, who just turned 1. He is our rainbow baby . I got pregnant with him a month after we lost Grayson. We were not expecting that but I think his brother Grayson sure knew what he was doing when he sent him to us. He is the sweetest boy and always so happy. He is our sunshine and then some!
We have one dog, a white Boxer named Love. She is such a love bug, hence her name. She just turned 9 in July. She's my only daughter and keeps me company in this full house of boys. She is very spoiled and I can't imagine my life without her.
I am an easy going person and down to earth! I call myself a genuine country girl! I love being a mom and an Army wife. I love spending time with my husband when time allows but we love being together as a family. We LOVE being outside and doing things around the house. We go to the parks a lot with our sons and dog. Anything to keep us outside, we love!
I'm on a mission to find what I want to be when I grow up. I thought it was a teacher, and now that I'm 99% done with my bachelors in elementary education, I don't feel that is where my heart is anymore. I'm also juggling mom life, military life, and being a stay at home mom. I know I have a calling or a purpose or what I'm supposed to do when I grow up, I just haven't figured that out yet.
I'm so glad you have taken the time to check out my blog! I hope you follow my journey, have some laughs, and join the silliness!
